Career Accelerators  (CA) has been providing quality training services since 2001. Our mission is excellence, and our vision is to see graduates improve their lives through the training we provide.

We believe the best way to achieve these goals is to strive for continual improvement in all that we do.  All our student clients are encouraged to constructively critique our learning materials, training delivery and techniques, and all our other services. Since our core business is training new trainers, we must lead by example.

Company Owner

Gwen Ford founded CA in 2001, as a division of the Aromatherapy College of Australia, to provide a distinctively corporate entity through which to deliver the cross-industry qualification of Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training.

Facts

Career Accelerators  is a registered trading name through which the Aromatherapy College of Australia (ACOA) may issue accredited qualifications as a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) in accordance with the requirements of the Australian National Quality Training Framework.

RTOs often partner with non-registered training organisations to deliver accredited training through them.  Registration is a costly process which is often diffused in this way.

Only Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) may issue accredited qualifications and their are about 800 RTOs in Queensland delivering accredited training in a very diverse range of areas.

Since RTOs must train their own staff, they must retain the capacity and capability to, in effect, deliver the Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training which has the official code BSZ40198. Because of this, RTOs often leverage this capability by offering the qualification to the general public. This is how RTOs which specialise in other areas (such as ACOA’s natural therapies) come to be offering the Certificate IV course.

The Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training BSZ40198 is the official qualification to be a teacher/trainer in an RTO delivering accredited training. 

The most well-known RTO is TAFE, however some private organisations such as QANTAS, and Group Training are just as big if not bigger in some respects.
