Q: If I do a Specialty Stream unit first, can I get
credits towards an accredited course later?
A: Yes, all accredited units qualify for
cross-credits within the College. You will receive
cross-credits or recognised prior learning (RPL) for
any material you study with us. If coming from
another College, we will assess previous studies so
that you need only study competencies not already
achieved.
Q: When can I start my course?
A: Any time of the year.
Q: Can I pay in instalments?
A: Yes, however, full payment up front is the
cheapest option. Please refer to relevant course for
payment options.
Q: Do we get a discount if two of us enrol together?
A: You may claim a 5% discount on fees if you both
enrol in courses at the same time.
Q: What happens if I have to stop studying for a
while? (Such as get sick, go on holidays, have a
baby, etc.)
A: Apply for an extension. It’s okay to take a
break, but you will need to contact the College.
Q: Do I need any extra books/resources?
A: You receive all essential reference material.
However, we always recommend extra reading; your
tutor can advise you accordingly. You will need to
purchase some essential oils.
Q: What tutor support will I receive?
A: Student services and support is detailed in the
student handbook. However you may telephone, email,
fax, send notes with your assignments and your tutor
will get in touch with you or respond accordingly.
Coaching and mentoring consultations will take place
periodically through out your course of study with
your tutor(s) either face-to-face or via tele-consultation.
Q: How long does a Professional Development Course
(i.e., 20-120 hours) take to complete?
A: Commonly around 2-6 months, depending on the
course and on the student’s schedule.
Q: How long does a certificate take to complete?
A: Commonly around 12 months, if studying full-time.
